Women Who Own

Moody Transitions: Get Out of Menopause Limbo and LIVE in Your "Second Spring”

Studies show that by the year 2025, over 6 BILLION women will have entered menopause. Menopause is a natural part of life, but it can be a difficult and isolating experience for many women. I understand firsthand the challenges women face during menopause, and that’s why I decided to live my menopause journey out loud.

In 2020, I was thrown into surgical menopause during the pandemic. I witnessed firsthand the lack of information, products and resources, and I saw a need for a safe place to GET LOUD about my experiences with hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and more. I know what it’s like to just want to move out of menopause limbo and feel comfortable again.

That’s when I created Pretty Moody, a modern menopause lifestyle and wellness brand focused on providing natural solutions for women’s health. Pretty Moody provides a range of products and resources designed to support women during this transition. In addition to the products, Pretty Moody is also a community for women to connect and support each other through the menopause journey. Yes—we need natural products for relief, but we also need a safe and welcoming space for women to share their experiences, offer advice, and find comfort and support during this transitional phase of life.

To me, community is everything, and that’s why, for quite some time, I’ve wanted to join the hundreds of Women Business Enterprises (WEBs) certified through WBEC-East. I felt aligned and attracted to everything that Women Owned represents and offers—especially since I also cater specifically to women.

When I started Pretty Moody, which is built on community, I knew it had to happen—I had to get my certification—and timing is everything for sure. I received my WBENC Certification in January 2023 and instantly became a part of one of the most amazing women support movements in the world. I was exposed to a plethora of opportunities right away. My WBENC Certification has already afforded me several opportunities to not only network but also connect with amazing women to help support them as well. Together we are living in our “Second Springs!”

I am new in this relationship, but I am very happy to be here and excited to see how my WBEC-East family will be even more instrumental on my journey to building my menopause brand. I’ll say it again, menopause is a natural yet challenging part of life, and no one needs to go through it alone.
