Our business is to get you business — the right supplier for our Corporate Partners, access to bids and RFPs for our WBEs.

We welcome Procurement Opportunity postings on this page in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Posts are accepted for procurement opportunities from Supplier Diversity Corporate/Council Members in good standing.
  • Posts are accepted for procurement opportunities for WBE-to-WBE spend by WBEs in good standing.
  • A brief three-line description of the opportunity; a link to the opportunity posted on line; an identified point-of-contact with name, e-mail and phone number; and dates of opportunity may be e-mailed to Steve Damweber, Engagement Manager- sdamweber@wbeceast.com
  • The description and link will be added within four business days of receipt.
  • Please note: This is a public website and public page. WBEC-East cannot guarantee that respondents are WBENC-certified WBEs.

New York and New Jersey (NY-NJ) have nine offshore wind projects totaling more than 9,800 megawatts in development off our coasts and are leading the nation to build a supply chain and workforce to support the growing offshore wind industry. Together NY-NJ constitute the hub of the nation’s offshore wind industry. Both states have ambitious, and achievable commitments to decarbonization and are making significant investments in the development of critical assets like ports, primary components and training programs. NY-NJ are working together to strategically prepare the offshore wind workforce and educate existing businesses about the opportunities in a domestic offshore wind supply chain. The Welcoming Center Entrepreneurship Program

The Welcoming Center Entrepreneurship Program promotes inclusive economic growth through immigrant integration by building entrepreneurial skills and, simultaneously assist participants in creating a road map to opening their business. Participants receive one-on-one coaching, along with class instruction, assisting businesses in obtaining business licenses, connecting to partner lending, financial planning institutions, and incubation spaces and vending opportunities.
