Boost Your Competitive Advantage and Business Growth Opportunities with WBEC-East

Progressive-thinking companies are leading the way in an increasingly diverse marketplace by finding collaborative and creative ways to incorporate supplier diversity into their business processes. A commitment to meaningful supplier diversity can give your organization a tangible competitive advantage by helping you: drive innovation, enhance flexibility, better meet the needs of diverse customers, and open doors to new partnerships and opportunities.

WBEC-East is a certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) – the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs – and we bring together the strengths of certified WBEs, corporate partners, and public sector representatives in PA, NJ, and DE.

About Our Supplier Diversity Council:

Our Council is comprised of 58 Council Business Partners and 60+ Council Representatives from both corporate and government that show their support for women owned businesses by participating in WBEC-East Council activities and oversight.

With 6 committees, 5-10 signature events, and numerous educational workshops, Council Business Partners are offered a number of ways to get involved. Council Business Partners are expected to participate individually or by way of a designee in a minimum of one WBEC-East Committee.

The Council is governed by the WBEC-East Board Chair, Council Chair, and Council Vice-Chair. The governance body also includes the Chair of each of the Committees.
